Update!
This is the first piece that I am getting mixed and mastered. I’m loving how it’s evolving! We’ve recorded my harp for one of the leads (main melody lines).
Another one of the leads in this is a little harsh (sine wave thing which appears like a too-bright, white-yellow smooth walled rope in my synesthesia) and my wonderful husband will be playing it on electric guitar (gorgeous orangey and thinner line)! It’s a fantastic transformation.
Here we are in our home studio working out one of the transitions:
What I originally wrote on this:
Thanks to a company that I LOVE called Music Lessons Anywhere , (run by an ENGLISH COUPLE WHO LIVE ON A LONGBOAT WITH THEIR CATS) I am learning to compose with a digital audio workstation or DAW, a dream come true for me.
I took the first ten digits of pi and assigned 1 to C, 2 to D, 3 to E, etc. For 9 I am using the D in the octave above. I started this a couple years ago and my husband, who besides being a mechanical engineer with over 70 patents, is a sound engineer and mixing this piece. I hope to release an album..
Thank goodness I like what my husband is doing with my music so far. (whew, marital harmony preserved)
This above does not have his mixing touches so some of the high end instruments are a bit harsh.
